The first day of the IPL auctions had many surprises to unleash. While some underdogs got themselves a hefty deal, some big names in the T20 cricket remained unsold. Ben Stokes as expected went for the highest bid on day 1 as he went for s whopping amount of 12.5 crores to the Rajasthan Royals.

Mitchell Johnson Went Unsold

The fast bowler from Australia decided to pull out from the PSL for he wanted to give himself enough rest ahead of the Indian Premier League. But going unsold on day 1 has made him rethink about his plans about the IPL.

Not just Mitchell Johnson who’s had a decent IPL so far but the likes of Chris Gayle, Hashim Amla, Martin Guptill also remained unsold on day 1 of the auctions.

Mitchell Johnson has been a part of the Mumbai Indians for a while and then he went to the Kings XI Punjab. But this time around no one shown any sort of interest in the Aussie quick who has picked 59 wickets from 48 matches. Johnson Slams Haters The bowler has hit back at those trolling him for going unsold in the Indian Premier League.

He said that he’s still having a great time with his family. Johnson has a base price of 2 crores set for him but after being ignored by the franchises he’s been trolled over Twitter. In a strong message, Mitchel Johnson has hit back at trollers and haters.
