Rashid Khan is an IPL millionaire which embodies the best of T20 leagues: they respect talent and don’t care where a player is from.

IPL has changed so much in a decade but 10 years ago you would not have thought it possible for an Afghanistan teenage leggie to go for $1.4m like Rashid Khan just has. Brilliant

A thought to ponder… Does Rashid Khan going for 1.5 Mil and Ish going unsold mean it’s more important to perform in other domestic t20 comps than in international cricket? ?

The story of IPL auction, perhaps even of cricket in the last 12-15 months, is the rise to eminence of 19-year-old Afghan Rashid Khan
