Former Australian cricketer Mitchell Johnson is currently in India for the ongoing Legends League Cricket. He is playing for the Jacques Kallis-led India Capitals and recently featured in the game against Gujarat Giants on Saturday.

The 40-year-old former cricketer, who has played in 73 Tests, 153 ODIs, and 30 T20Is for Australia, is in Lucknow now for their next game, however, the cricketer had an interesting encounter in his hotel room.

Well, a snake entered his room, which left the former cricketer shocked. On Monday, Mitchell Johnson took to his social media and shared a picture of the snake he found in his room. Sharing the picture, Johnson asked his fans to help him identify what type it was. He wrote: “Anyone know what type of snake this is?? Just hanging out in my room door,”

Talking about Johnson’s ongoing stint with India Capitals, the pacer has already dismissed Virender Sehwag once in the tournament. During the game, Johnson bowled three overs and conceded just 22 runs.

Recently, in an interview with ANI, Johnson spoke about India’s chances in the World Cup in Australia next month after their failure to reach the Asia Cup final after back-to-back defeats in the Super 4 stage. He said:

“When it comes to World Cup, you just enjoy the moment. You need to focus, they are all big games. Indians are used to playing big games because of IPL, playing in front of large crowds with a lot of pressure. I think all that stuff (Asia Cup performance) will be behind them,”
