Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc, who left the recently concluded series between India and Australia midway and head back home after sustaining a stress fracture on his foot, sent a personal message to Virat Kohli on Twitter congratulation him on winning the series and also talking about some ‘personal’ issues. The series was one of the most bitterly-fought series.
Mitchell Starc’s personal message to Virat Kohli:
“Hey friend 🙂 Hopefully I don’t have to look for a new ipl team?? Haha media hey!
Didn’t get a chance to have a proper catch up mate but Congrats on the series win and on your summer personally… I hope that shoulder is on the mend and not too bad. Good luck for the ipl, here’s hoping to an RCB win. Cheers mate,” Starc’s message read.
But he made a mistake which he is going to regret for a very long time now. While sending the message, Starc didn’t notice that he chose the wrong Twitter handle. Star’s message, instead of getting delivered in right Virat Kohli Twitter account (@imVkohli), landed up in a parody account (@imVkohIIi).
And the owner of @imvkohIIi immediately shared the screenshot of Starc’s message, on Twitter.
