The Indian cricket team’s sensational pacer Mohammed Siraj remembered his father after reclaiming the number 1 spot in the ICC ODI Rankings for bowlers on Wednesday, September 20. Siraj has reclaimed the top spot in the ODI bowler rankings ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, climbing eight places after a terrific outing in the final clash of the Asia Cup against Sri Lanka.

Siraj Reclaimed The Top Spot In ICC Rankings

Siraj reclaimed the top spot, riding on his incredible bowling spell in the Asia Cup 2023 final as he single-handedly dismantled the Sri Lankan batting unit and returned with sensational bowling figures of 6/21. Siraj finished the tournament with 10 wickets at an average of 12.2. He went past star bowlers like Trent Boult, Rashid Khan, and Mitchell Starc.
