The 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League is going on in full swing ever since it started on March 31st. Chennai Super Kings was one of the teams that everyone was looking forward to as the ongoing season marked the return of the legendary captain MS Dhoni back into action. However, the side started the season on a bitter note as they were defeated by Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans in their opening clash.
But known for their comebacks, CSK soon made a return and opened their win account in the season by defeating Lucknow Super Giants in their 2nd game. The win was even more special as the match took place at their home ground MA Chidambaram Stadium after a long gap of almost 4 years.

CSK’s return to their den was made even more special by the former legends of CSK, who also attended the game. IPL legend Suresh Raina, who is hailed as one of the most consistent performers in IPL history, also attended the game and it was nothing less than a treat for the CSK fans to see their Chinna Thala back at Chepauk.
After Chennai registered a win against Lucknow, Thala shared a heartwarming moment with his former teammate for the franchise and national team.
Raina and Dhoni weren’t just teammates but they are like brothers. Time and again, the duo has left the fans in awe of their friendship. After the game, both the CSK legends shared a warm hug, which will surely be a golden moment for all the Chennai fans.
