MS Dhoni Names Two People Who Are His Inspiration

MS Dhoni had led the Indian side to the iconic World Cup 2011 win, ending a long wait of 28 years. After leading the team to a historic victory, MS Dhoni, was asked who did he look up to as his hero and who inspired him as a person.

Responding to the question, MS Dhoni had named Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood great Amitabh Bacchan as his inspirations. He had said:

Well, that’s a very difficult one. There’s someone like Sachin Tendulkar, who is a part of the side, whom most of the individual cricketers look up to. And not to forget Amitabh Bachchan, who has been the biggest thing when it comes to Bollywood, and he is known the world over. So if you look at him, still, at his age, he is working and being among the best,” Dhoni had told ESPN Cricinfo.

He added:

“So these are the two people who are ideal role models, who have struggled through their phases in life and yet come out successful. The best thing is that they are very humble and grounded, which I think is very important to be a successful person,”

For the unversed, we should tell you that MS Dhoni, who has 37 million followers on Instagram, only follows 4 accounts including the Instagram account of Amitabh Bachchan.
