A Fact That Prove Virat Kohli Is India’s Best Test Captain Ever: The Indian cricket team finished 2021 on a high note by defeating South Africa in the first Test at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Thursday. This win was also India’s first-ever Test victory at the venue, which is considered to be a fortress for South Africa. 

The Indian side became the first Asian team to win a Test match at the iconic Centurion. This win was also historic for the Indian Test skipper as he became the first Indian captain to win two Boxing Day Test matches. 

Not just this, Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team has also ended the year as the number 1 Test team for the 6th consecutive year. Yes, you read that right. 

In the last six years, the Indian cricket team has played fabulous cricket under the leadership of Virat Kohli in the longest format of the game. From winning a red-ball series in Australia to defeating New Zealand at home, the Indian side has won back-to-back series to emerge as one of the most consistent performing teams in the world.

The only time team India disappointed its fans in Test format was the defeat in the finale of the ICC World Test championship by the hands of New Zealand. India has ended up as the number 1 Test team for the 6th consecutive year (2016-2021) in the annual rankings.
