MS Dhoni

Former India captain and the current CSK skipper, MS Dhoni, was seen casually strolling in some of the public places in Mumbai on his recent trip to the city. Fans on social media were left in shock as MS Dhoni once again showed his simplicity and down-to-earth character.

Apart from his cricketing greatness, fans have fallen in love with the simplicity and humbiness Dhoni has always shown. Despite being one of the most successful cricketers, and among the richest athletes on the planet, Dhoni doesn’t carry any arrogance or isn’t showy at all. Instead, he believes in leading his life with great simplicity and unpretentiousness.

This was further evident when he was surrounded by a group of fans who were stunned to observe MS Dhoni in the flesh walking between them.

A video has gone viral on social media in which the 42-year-old CSK captain can be seen candidly walking between normal citizens. Dhoni also had a ride on a boat in Mumbai.

Will MS Dhoni play in IPL next year?

Yes, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is preparing to play in the IPL 2024 and lead CSK for quite likely in one last season as he will be 43 years old next year.

Dhoni himself had confirmed at the end of the IPL 2023 that he’s not planning on retiring from the IPL just yet.

About his return to the IPL next year, Dhoni said, “The tough thing for me is to work hard for another nine months and come back and play at least one more season of IPL. But a lot depends on the body, I have six-seven months to decide and it will be more like a gift from my side [to the fans]. It’s not easy for me but the way they’ve shown their love and affection, that’s something I need to do for them.”

He underwent knee surgery soon after lifting CSK to their 5th title this year, defeating Gujarat Titans in the final this year in Ahmedabad.
