MS Dhoni Starts A New Innings And It’s Drone-tastic

Legendary Indian captain MS Dhoni is hailed as one of the most brilliant minds to have ever played. Over the years, he has also made key investments in companies ranging from auto and sports, to food beverages segments. Besides this,  Dhoni’s love for organic farming is also well-documented. The former captain is now all-set to become the brand-ambassador and shareholder of the biggest drone company in India — Garuda Aerospace.

MS Dhoni is all set to invest in Garuda Aerospace.

Well, on Monday, MS Dhoni announced his decision to invest in the drone company at an undisclosed amount. Dhoni has also been roped in as the brand ambassador by the drone maker. According to ANI, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace – Agnishwar Jayaprakash is very exciting for the upcoming collaboration. Talking about the same he said:

“I’ve always been an Ardent Admirer of MS Dhoni & to have him as a part of the Garuda Aerospace family is honestly a dream come true,”

He added: “Mahi is the epitome of Dedication & I firmly believe that having Captain Cool on our Cap table adds tremendous value which will motivate our team to perform better.”

Garuda Aerospace via their official Twitter account made the big news by calling it a it a proud association after Dhoni became a shareholder in the company. The Tweet read: “True performers go beyond themselves. They craft collective victory.”

Some facts you need to know about Dhoni’s Garuda Aerospace

Talking about Dhoni’s Garuda Aerospace, the company has designed drones for 38 diverse applications including mapping, sanitisation, agriculture spraying, security, delivery and surveillance. Not just this, Garuda Garuda has also contributed to the defence sector by bagging a significant order for 33 anti-drone systems for the ministry of defence.

It has to be noted that last year, Elon Musk recognised Garuda’s operational expertise on Twitter.
