The fourth match of the ongoing 5-match series between Sri Lanka and India was a big game for India as it was MS Dhoni’s 300th One Day International (ODI) match. Dhoni, one of the most successful cricketers in the history of the game, has never cared about personal milestones, but his fans and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made it a special day.
Dhoni is, arguably, the greatest captain in cricket history. During his time as India’s captain, he led Indian cricket with grace and dignity. Many cricket pundits and fans believe that the speed at which Indian cricket progressed under MS Dhoni’s leadership is second to none.
With all due respect to all the great skippers India has produced over the years, MS Dhoni is the greatest Indian captain. He won almost every major trophy that was there to be won and helped many youngsters in understanding the game.
