Naveen-ul-Haq Gets Abused By Rohit Sharma’s Fans After Dismissing MI Captain In Eliminator

Naveen-ul-Haq Gets Abused By Rohit Sharma’s Fans After Dismissing MI Captain In Eliminator: The abuses toward the players from the big fanbases in India and around the world continue in this IPL. The ugly side of these masses of fans, many of which showed their moronic intellect, has been on display recently.

After the fans of Virat Kohli and RCB abused Shubman Gill and his sister recently after Gill’s century knocked RCB out of the playoffs, and the fans of MS Dhoni and CSK abused Mohit Sharma after he took Dhoni’s wicket, on Wednesday, it were some fans of Rohit Sharma who abused LSG and Afghanistan seamer Naveen-ul-Haq for taking Rohit’s wicket in the Eliminator in Chennai.

Further, it was Naveen’s celebration of fingers-in-ears that also triggered the Rohit fans.

Naveen-ul-Haq, Rohit Sharma

Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants met in the IPL 2023 Eliminator where Rohit won the toss and elected to bat first. However, the MI captain failed to kick-on from his six and four and gave his wicket away to Naveen.

Rohit dame down the track to Naveen and looked to chip his full ball over cover. However, he didn’t time his shot well and gave a simple catch to Ayush Badoni who moved to his left at cover to complete the take.

Naveen-ul-Haq was pumped with this big wicket of Rohit Sharma.

After taking the wicket, he celebrated with a gesture of fingers in the ears.

With this fingers-in-ears gesture, Naveen perhaps hinted to the RCB fans that he was blocking the outside noise and the trolling away from himself.

This gesture from the LSG seamer wasn’t appreciated by the fans of Rohit – though Naveen has all rights to celebrate in any way he pleases, as long as it’s not provoking a reaction from the opposition. It is a celebration a number of players have used, including KL Rahul.

On Naveen-ul-Haq taking Rohit Sharma’s wicket and his following celebration, some fans of the MI captain abused and spewed vile under Naveen’s Instagram comments.

These imbeciles on social media abused Naveen, his mother and also called him a Talibani.
