New Zealand batsman and captain Kane Williamson is considered one of the best in the current generation and is a Kiwi legend.

Having made his international debut in 2010 as a prodigious young 20-year-old talent, Kane Williamson has so far played 94 Tests, 161 ODIs, and 87 T20Is for New Zealand in which he’s amassed a total of 17142 international runs. The right-hander has stroked 41 international hundreds to go with 92 fifties.

Kane Williamson is New Zealand’s second all-time leading international run-scorer, only behind Ross Taylor, who scored 18199 runs.

In 2015, Williamson reached the world number 1 Test batsman ICC ranking.

The 33-year-old is likely to surpass Taylor’s tally in the coming couple of years, but he’s currently nursing a leg injury that he sustained during the IPL 2023. This has put his and New Zealand’s plans for World Cup 2023 in jeopardy as he’s their best batsman and captain.

Kane Williamson is one of the few players in world cricket who have played in two ODI World Cup finals, but he lost it both – to Australia in 2015 WC Final at MCG and to England in 2019 WC Final at Lord’s. Williamson was named the Player of the Tournament in the 2019 World Cup for his exceptional show with the bat and as the New Zealand skipper.

Willamson and New Zealand lost another final to Australia, the T20 World Cup final 2020 in Dubai. But they had their greatest moment in Test cricket when Kane Williamson led New Zealand to the World Test Championship victory, defeating India in the final.

Kane Williamson also has been a regular player in the IPL. He spent 8 years from 2015 to 2022 with Sunrisers Hyderabad and in 2018, in the absence of David Warner, Kane led SRH to the 2018 IPL final, but SRH lost it to CSK. He was the Orange Cap winner that season.

After being released by SRH after IPL 2022, Kane Williamson was bought by Gujarat Titans. He played only one match in IPL 2023 as he got injured.

Kane Williamson Net Worth:

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson’s net worth is reported to be $11 Million, which is approx INR 91 crore.

Kane Williamson salary:

Kane Williamson’s yearly salary is reported to be $1 million. His annual contract with New Zealand Cricket ranges from $300,000 to $400,000.

From his IPL contracts from 2015 to 2023, Kane Williamson has made a total of INR 29 crore 80 lakh in the IPL. His latest IPL 2023 contract was with Gujarat Titans for INR 2 crore, which was significantly less than the INR 14 crore contract he had with SRH in 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, SRH paid Williamson INR 3 crore per season before it was elevated to INR 14 crore for the 2022 season before being released completely. In his first three years, from 2015 to 2017, Williamson received INR 60 lakh per season from SRH.
