With not much happening in the cricket world, cricketers around the world are forced to stay indoors, otherwise, cricketers around the world would have been locking their horns on the field. Several cricketers are coming up with their all-time favorites in different formats and leagues.
South African veteran JP Duminy became the latest one to join the bandwagon and he came up with his own all-time favorite IPL XI, where he made some interesting omissions and inclusions.
For the opening positions, JP Duminy picked ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle and legendary keeper-batsman Adam Gilchrist, who is an IPL-winning captain Adam Gilchrist. For the third position, JP Duminy picked Rohit Sharma, who was followed by Virat Kohli in the fourth position.

Surprisingly, JP Duminy didn’t go for Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni, the two most successful skippers in IPL, but went for Virat Kohli for the position of captain in his all-time IPL XI. For the position of all-rounders, JP Duminy picked  Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard, the two players who have been like pillars for their franchise Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.
For the bowling line-up, JP Duminy picked a few of the best bowlers around the world including Brett Lee, Lasith Malinga, Muttiah Muralitharan, and Imran Tahir.

More, surprisingly, JP Duminy’s all-time IPL XI didn’t include MS Dhoni and the talismanic Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player Suresh Raina.

Here is JP Duminy’s all-time IPL XI:

Chris Gayle, Adam Gilchrist (wk), Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers, Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Brett Lee, Muttiah Muralitharan, Lasith Malinga, Imran Tahir.
