Recently, the all rounder of Pakistan cricket team, Shahid Afridi got himself in an ugly controversy when he tweeted his ‘insensitive’ remarks about the state Kashmir and all the abysmal incidents happening in the state.

Everyone were stunned by how a top player like him backed terrorists by calling them ‘innocent’. His insensitive tweet angered every Indian. Everyone felt disappointed with his ugly remarks about India.
Here’s what he tweeted:

Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?

After his tweet, many Indian fans and cricketers took to twitter to slam Shahid Afridi. It was Gautam Gambhir who came infront first, and bashed Shahid Afridi. He also mocked his English. It was followed by Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina, Mohammad Kaif, and Rajiv Shukla, the official of BCCI, who severely slammed Shahid Afridi.

Now, Ishant Sharma, the Indian fast bowler has also took to twitter to bash Shahid Afridi and termed his remarks as ‘baseless’. He also raised his opinions on the issue. Here’s what he tweeted:

As an Indian, I feel offended to see such baseless remarks! Kashmir is, was and…will always be an integral part of India.

Kashmir has always been one of the main reasons behind the never-ending fights between India and Pakistan. However, it’s high time that Pakistan realizes that Kashmir is an Indian state.
