Now when the IPL auctions are nearing, there’s great excitement among fans to find out which players will be bought by their teams and for whom would the teams use their ‘Right To Match Card.’ The auctions will be held in Bangalore between 27th January and 28th January.

Chennai Super Kings

The Chennai Super Kings have retained MS Dhoni as their skipper. Besides MS Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings have also retained Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja.

Salary Cap Remaining: 47 crores

Mumbai Indians

The defending champions have retained Rohit Sharma as their captain. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah have been retained too.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have only retained two players. David Warner and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the two players retained by the SRH.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The KKR retained no Indian players. They have retained just two players which include Andre Russel and Sunil Narine.

The Delhi Daredevils have retained Chris Morris, Shreyas Iyer, and Rishabh Pant.

Salary Cap Remaining: 47 crores

Royal Challengers Bangalore

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have retained Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers and Sarfraz Khan. Virat Kohli being retained for 17 crores became the most expensive player ever in the history of the Indian Premier League.

Salary Cap Remaining: 49 crores

Rajasthan Royals

They would be making a comeback after 2 years of ban along with the Chennai Super Kings. They have just retained one player. Steve Smith is the only player retained by them.

Kings XI Punjab

The Kings have also retained just one player. Axar Patel is the only
player retained by the Kings XI Punjab.
