After serving an eight-month suspension from playing cricket, the young talented player, Prithvi Shaw announced his comeback in an inspiring way. Playing in T20 Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, Prithvi smashed 63 off 39 balls, hitting seven fours and two sixes.
Playing against Assam, Prithvi’s power-packed fifty helped Mumbai to post 206/5 in 20 overs. Assam failed to chase the target and could register only 123/8, losing the match by 83 runs.

Earlier in July, in some surprising turn of events, Indian test opener Prithvi Shaw was banned by BCCI for doping charges. He was banned for a period of eight months from all the formats of the game as a banned substance Terbutaline was found in the results of his urine tests. The BCCI statement read:
“The eight-month period of Ineligibility will be deemed to have started to run on March 16 2019, so that it will end at midnight on November 15 2019.”

After completing his fifty, Prithvi Shaw celebrated his half-century in a unique style, gesturing to the crowd that now his bat will do the talking. The video of the same was shared by BCCI on their official twitter handle. Sharing the video they wrote:
