Former India captain MS Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi, stunned the internet once again with their stylish black attire that they wore at the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar this week.
The city of Jamnagar has this week been turned into a huge accommodation for some of the biggest names on the planet, across fields and industries. No doubt that a number of cricketers turned up for the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani, who is the son of Mukesh Ambani, one of the world’s richest people, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of another huge Indian businessman.
Among cricketers, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya were the biggest names in the event this week.
MS Dhoni attended the function and the party with his wife, Sakshi. The pair dazzled the evening in their black dresses. Dhoni wore a black blazer while Sakshi donned a lovely black dress.
MS Dhoni the greatest ever finisher: Chopra
Former India batsman and MS Dhoni’s former teammate Aakash Chopra has made his opinion clear that Dhoni is the greatest-ever finisher white-ball cricket has seen, eclipsing the likes of Lance Klusener and Michael Bevan.
Chopra reckoned MS Dhoni’s best ability was his knack of winning run chases through calculative approach, rotating strike before erupting in the slog overs.
Chopra said on his YouTube, “Whenever a book is written on cricket, the finishing chapter will be written on him, and he might write it himself because there hasn’t been a better finisher than him in the history of cricket. Around 2008, MS Dhoni started developing as a limited-overs cricketer who finished matches. He started getting compared with Michael Bevan.”
“Michael Bevan’s specialty was singles, doubles and running. Dhoni ran singles and doubles, hit fours and sixes, stayed unbeaten till the end, and his game awareness was as good as Michael Bevan, if not better.”
Dhoni will next be seen in action this month when CSK host RCB for the opening match of the IPL 2024 season.
