In a video posted by the BCCI.tv, India’s head coach Rahul Dravid was seen giving a pep talk to the team about the importance of the next few days going into the first Test match of the long tour.

“The next three days are going to be extremely important in terms of our preparations and getting ourselves ready for the first Test,” Rahul Dravid said during a practice session. 

“Okay, just quality practice and good intensity,” the Indian coach added.

These two mantras given by Guru Dravid hold a lot of importance for the young Indian team because in his long and illustrious career, Dravid always performed well in the overseas conditions and gave tough challenges to his opponents on the field.

India’s batting coach Vikram Rathour spoke about the net session for the batters and said that it was an overcast day, which meant a challenging day for the Indian batsmen.

“Today was a centre wicket practice session. It was a fresh wicket with overcast conditions, pretty challenging for the batters. So extremely happy with the way they went about it today,” said batting coach Vikram Rathour.
