India’s legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid has kickstarted his career as the Indian cricket coach with a bang, winning two matches back-to-back. While the first victory was a straightforward one, the second win saw the team digging deep, fighting against the opposition from the jaws of defeat and snatching a victory.
Yes, the Indian cricket team led by Shikhar Dhawan showed immense fighting spirit as they defeated the Sri Lankan cricket team in the 2nd off 3-match ODI series, to take a lead of 2-0 in the series. However, the win didn’t come easy as there were moments when the game looked in favor of Sri Lanka. Infact, at one point the situation was so tense that Rahul Dravid, himself had to come down rushing from the dressing room to pass Deepak Chahar a message during the run-chase.
Well, Deepak Chahar emerged out to be the hero of the game as he formed an unbeaten partnership of 84 runs with Bhuvneshwar Kumar to overhaul the target of 276 runs with 5 balls to spare. Deepak Chahar gave a stellar performance and stole the show with his stunning shots.
While the entire cricket fraternity was surprised with the Chahar playing the crucial role in the run-chase, on the other hand, there were a few intense moments during the game.
One of such moments also saw Rahul Dravid notice something that he couldn’t resist keeping to himself. Dravid was then seen rushing down the stairs of the dressing room and going straight to Rahul Chahar in the dugout.
Dravid gave Rahul Chahar a few instructions to pass on to Deepak, who was batting in the middle and the rest is history.

The pictures and videos of the same incident have been going viral on the internet and the fans just can’t keep calm. After the match, Bhuvneshwar Kumar admitted being delighted with the way Deepak Chahar led the way, proving Dravid’s decision to promote him right. He had said:
“Look, he has played under coach Rahul Dravid before in India A or some series and he had scored there as well. So, Dravid knew that he can bat and he can hit a few balls, so that was his Dravid’s call.”
“And the way he batted, Chahar proved it right. We all know that he can bat, he has batted in Ranji Trophy many times, so it wasn’t a tough call but it is good to see the way he scored the runs,”
