“He’s Jealous Of..” News Anchor Rajat Sharma On Gautam Gambhir-Virat Kohli Fight

Renowned news anchor Rajat Sharma has launched an attack on BJP MP and former India batsman Gautam Gambhir following the latter’s altercation with RCB and India star Virat Kohli in the IPL 2023.

10 years after their heated battler during an RCB-KKR game in Bangalore, Kohli, still at RCB, and Gambhir, now mentor for LSG, came head to head once again after the match between the two teams in Lucknow.

In their previous meeting in Bangalore this season, Gambhir had made a shushing signal toward the crowd, which Virat reprised after taking a couple of catches in Lucknow. The former RCB skipper was also involved in a tussle with LSG’s Naveen-ul-Haq.

After the match, which RCB won by 18 runs, Kohli was talking with Kyle Mayers before Gambhir pulled Mayers away from Kohli. Seconds later, both approached each other aggressively and some fiery words were exchanged between the duo and tempers flared up once again. Others, including KL Rahul, Amit Mishra, Faf du Plessis, and Vijay Dahiya, separated them and took them away from each other.

Speaking about the match, Kohli added, “It was a really important win for us. The fact that we got more support from the home crowd is an unbelievable feeling. It tells you all about how much we are liked as a team and how people come out and back us. It’s a very sweet win. Feels very good for many reasons but most importantly for the kind of character we showed defending that total [126]. I think everyone had the belief that we could do it and we were on the winning side which is great.”
