Kohli partnered with Faf du Plessis to open the innings for RCB. Despite other top-order batsmen not performing well, Kohli’s impressive innings of 77 runs, including 11 fours and 2 sixes, led RCB to victory. This marked a strong comeback for Kohli after scoring only 21 runs in RCB’s first game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
