Ravi Ashwin Trolled The Complete Australian Cricket Fraternity With A Single Tweet

Ravi Ashwin trolled the complete Australian cricket fraternity with a single tweet after team India made history by defeating Australia at the Gabba by 3 wickets and take the series 2-1.

In his tweet, R Ashwin shared two pictures, one featuring all the predictions made by the former Australian cricketers against the team India. The picture featured the statements made by cricketer including the likes of Michael Clarke, Ricky Ponting, Mark Waugh, Michael Vaughan, and Brad Haddin, who underestimated Team India and had either predicted a complete white-wash for team India or a brutal defeat at the Gabba.

The second image featured the winning Team India with the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy with CHAMPIONS written on the ground.  Sharing the images, Ashwin took a dig at the Australian cricketers and wrote:

“LHS ( not = ) RHS !
Yours happily India tour of OZ 2020/21
Humbled by all the love and support we have received over the last 4 weeks!”

In another tweet, Ashwin took a dig at the current Australian skipper Tim Paine, after team India won the game. Well, here, the context goes back to the third Test match when Ashwin gave Tim Paine a fitting reply after the latter tried to sledge the India spinner while he was batting.

Tim Paine sledged Ravi Ashwin, “Can’t wait to get you to the Gabba”

Responding to which, Ashwin had said: “Can’t wait to get you to India, it will be your last series”

Now after winning the trophy after defeating the Australian cricket team at their fortress, where the hosts haven’t lost since 1988, Ravi Ashwin couldn’t stop himself from mocking Tim Paine. In his tweet, Ashwin reminded everyone that he is tweeting ‘from Gabba’. He further thanked Cricket Australia for hosting them, which seemed more of a troll.  He wrote:

“Good evening from Gabba!! I am sorry I couldn’t play here but thanks for hosting us and playing some hard cricket during these tough times. We will remember this series forever!”
