Bishnoi’s stellar display further solidifies India’s stronghold across all formats, with the national team already holding the top rank in ODI, Test, and T20I formats.
Ravi Bishnoi Is The New World No. 1 T20I Bowler In ICC Rankings
In the recently concluded series against Australia, the 23-year-old Bishnoi emerged as India’s primary bowler, claiming nine wickets from five matches. With a total of 699 rating points, Bishnoi has surged five places to overtake Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan (692) and secure the No. 1 position in the ICC T20I bowling rankings. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga and England’s Adil Rashid share the joint third position with 679 points, while Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana (677) completes the top five.
In the T20I format, Bishnoi is the lone Indian bowler in the top 10, while Axar Patel climbed nine spots to secure the 18th position. Suryakumar Yadav, the aggressive batter who led India to a 4-1 series victory against Australia, maintained his top spot among batters. However, opener Ruturaj Gaikwad slipped to seventh place.
