Ravichandran Ashwin vs Ajinkya Rahane! In a rare battle between two veteran Indian cricketers, R Ashwin once again got the better of Ajinkya Rahane, as he dismissed him for the 6th time in the Indian Premier League in the game between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium on Thursday. This was also the second time that Ashwin had dismissed Rahane, and the sixth time overall in the IPL.

The wicket came in the 10th over of the CSK’s innings, with Rajasthan Royals on top after picking up 2 quick wickets in the previous two overs. Rahane, who looked in a decent touch, went back to the pavilion after scoring just 15 runs off 13 deliveries before attempting to take on Ashwin.

Coming down the track, Ajinkya got too close to the carrom ball and couldn’t get going to clear long-on. Jos Buttler ran to his right and took a good catch, sending Rahane back to the CSK dugout.
