RCB Fans Attacked Shubman Gill’s Sister Shahneel On Instagram
Yes, some toxic fans of Virat and his team RCB are leaving vile, abusive comments on the Instagram handles of Shubman Gill and his sister. The reason? Well, Shubman played a sensational knock that eventually crushed the hopes of RCB and knocked them out from the IPL 2023 playoffs race on Sunday night.

Fans are blaming Shubman for RCB’s disappointing exit from the tournament. And the worst that they could do is they are targetting his sister as well. His sister, who had nothing to do with Gill’s knock or Virat’s dream of lifting the IPL trophy, has been receiving threats and abuses of all kinds on her social media handle.
It all started after a few fans shared the details of Shubman’s sister’s Instagram account on Twitter and what followed was toxic abuses and threats from some fans, who just can’t understand the beauty of this game.
One would feel pure disgust while going through these hate-filled, vile, and abusive comments. May no sister or woman has to go through what Shahneel must be going through right now. And what was her fault?
Check out the disgusting comments from the RCB fans:
With this defeat, RCB’s wait to earn their maiden silverware will continue until next season. Gill remained unbeaten on 104 off 52, an innings featuring five fours and eight sixes. Speaking after the match, Gill, who was adjudged player-of-the-match, said:
“I am in good form, it’s about getting a start and then converting it into a big one,”
He added: “In the first half of the IPL, I was missing out on those big ones. I was getting a lot of 40s and 50s. Thankfully, it’s all working out for me in the business end of the IPL. You need to keep playing shots in T20 cricket. You have to keep the intent and keep applying yourself, keep the belief,”
Shubman will be next seen in action in the Qualifier 1 round against Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk Stadium.
“It’s going to be an exciting one, playing against Chennai in Chennai. We have got a great bowling attack for that wicket in particular and hopefully we’ll make it to the final for the second time.”
