Yes, Rajat has been ruled out of the entire season. Earlier he was reported to be missing only the first half of the season and the RCB’s team management was very hopeful that Rajat would be available at some stage in the league.
However, the franchise has now confirmed the latest development regarding Rajat Patidar’s participation in the ongoing tournament.
On Tuesday, Royal Challengers Bangalore via their official social media handle shared a tweet, proving an important update on the star player. Expressing their disappointment at the news, Royal Challengers Bangalore also wished Patidar a speedy recovery and pledged their continued support during his rehabilitation process. The tweet read:
“Unfortunately, Rajat Patidar has been ruled out of IPL 2023 due to an Achilles Heel injury. We wish Rajat a speedy recovery and will continue to support him during the process. The coaches and management have decided not to name a replacement player for Rajat just yet,”

Currently, the 29-year-old right-handed batter was undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru due to a heel injury.
Talking about the team’s performance, RCB has kickstarted their campaign in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League with a bang as they won their opening game against Mumbai Indians comfortably by eight wickets.
RCB will now meet Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for a match on Thursday at Eden Gardens of Kolkata.
