Coming out to bat first, SRH posted a target of 187 runs for RCB. South African batter Heinrich Klaasen produced a blockbuster knock as he registered his maiden century in the Indian Premier League. He scored 104 runs off 51 balls, however, apart from him, no other batter could match the batting prowess of Klaasen.

Later, chasing the target of 187 runs, Virat Kohli walked out to open the innings with captain Faf du Plessis and together they took the game by storm.
