Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli created history as he played a scintillating knock to help Royal Challengers Bangalore seal a victory in an important game against SunRisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets. RCB now has 14 points and 2 more points will help them solidify their chances of making it to the IPL 2023 playoffs.

Virat Kohli Played A Stunning Knock

Coming out to bat first, SRH posted a target of 187 runs for RCB. South African batter Heinrich Klaasen produced a blockbuster knock as he registered his maiden century in the Indian Premier League. He scored 104 runs off 51 balls, however, apart from him, no other batter could match the batting prowess of Klaasen.

Later, chasing the target of 187 runs, Virat Kohli walked out to open the innings with captain Faf du Plessis and together they took the game by storm.

Virat was in a different mood last night as he attacked the SRH’s bowlers from the word go. He showcased his batting prowess and registered his sixth hundred in the Indian Premier League, which is the most in IPL history.

He brought his century in style with a stunning six over deep mid-wicket, inducing a loud roar from the crowd at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium before Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed him off the very next delivery. In an innings that lasted for 63 deliveries, Kohli smashed 12 fours and 4 stunning sixes.

Mr. Nags Hailed King Kohli

Meanwhile, Kohli has been receiving praise from all corners for his terrific knock. From cricketers and experts to fans, everyone took to Twitter and hailed the performance of King Kohli.

Among many, RCB’s official mascot Mr. Nags also took to his social media and hailed Virat Kohli for his amazing performance. In his Tweet, he also admired the way everyone appreciated the knock and gave respect to Kohli after his knock. He wrote:

“What a fucking knock! All hail the king! 👑👑 Brilliant! The respect and appreciation from everybody on the field. Terrific!”
