Delhi Capitals have had a forgettable start to their campaign in the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL), with four back-to-back defeats. DC is now gearing up for their fifth match in the season where they will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday.

Ahead of the crucial match, Rishabh Pant attended DC’s practice session for the crucial RCB tie. Pant is currently for the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League as he continues to recover from the tragic car accident that he incurred last December following which he suffered multiple injuries. Following the accident, he underwent surgery and is now recovering.

Rishabh Pant gave a big update about his health

On Friday, DC via their official social media handles shared a picture of Pant standing on the sidelines, watching the team’s preparation for the RCB match as vice-captain Axar Patel stood all padded-up next to him.

He also had an interaction with DC tv and spoke about his recovery. Rishabh Pant stated that he is making steady progress & had come for a check-up with the NCA. He said:

“I am good, recovering very well better than what I have thought. Getting better every day. Came for the NCA, and you guys happened to be here I thought I will meet with the guys and wanted to see the practice. Really love to be around the guys, I miss that thing especially but this is something that I can’t control,”

He added: “My heart and soul is always with Delhi. All the best for the next match. I said to Axar Patel that you should not do much batting, I had seen him in nets hitting well,”

A defeat in the upcoming game against RCB, won’t keep DC in good stead in the race of playoffs. Fans would like to see Mitchell Marsh and Prithvi Shaw making a much-needed contribution to the game.
