Rishabh Pant Revealed Why Virat Kohli Was Upset With The England Crowd

Rishabh Pant Revealed Why Virat Kohli Was Upset With The England Crowd: India’s sensational fast bowler Mohammed Siraj gave it back to the England crowd after he had a ball thrown at him from the crowd. However, Siraj isn’t the one to back down from a fight, therefore when the England crowd at Headingley tried to get under his skin on the opening day of the 3rd Test match, he gave it back to them and trolled them right there.

Well, it also started after a person from the crowd threw a plastic ball at Siraj, who was standing at the boundary during the 39th over of England’s first innings. Siraj turned around at the hecklers after delivery and replied with a gesture of “1-0” with both his hands directed towards them.

The video of the incident has been making rounds on the internet and has left the fans in splits.

Later, after the match, Rishabh Pant revealed what exactly happened during that moment. He revealed that a ball was deliberately aimed to hit Siraj and the whole incident annoyed the Indian skipper. During the press conference following the first day’s play, Rishabh was asked why Kohli looked upset at what the crowd was saying. He revealed:

“I think, somebody threw a ball inside, at Siraj, so he [Kohli] was upset,” Pant said. “You can say whatever you want to chant, but don’t throw things at the fielders and all those things. It is not good for cricket, I guess.”

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. During the Lord’s Test, KL Rahul was seen throwing back a champagne cork that had made its way onto the ground and had possibly hit him. However, team India didn’t file any complaint in both cases.
