Rishabh Pant Set To Comeback: Check Out The Biggest News By DC For IPL 2024

Ahead of the auction, the Delhi Capitals have made the biggest decision regarding Rishabh Pant for the IPL 2024 season.

The 26-year-old wicket-keeper batsman is set to make his comeback in the IPL 2024 season. However, Pant will not lead Delhi Capitals; it is likely that David Warner will continue leading the side, despite their 9th position finish in IPL 2023.

While Rishabh Pant will make his comeback in IPL 2024, it has been learned that the Delhi Capitals management will use him only as an Impact Player. This means that Pant will play only as a batsman and will not do wicket-keeping or fielding. This is because the major injuries suffered by Pant in his car accident were on his knees and the DC management won’t ask him to do wicket-keeping, or even fielding, but just play him as a pure batsman.

This is still a major boost for Delhi Capitals that their experienced player Pant will be available for IPL 2024 season, especially considering their struggles last season in the middle-order and finishing.

According to the latest report by RevSportz, the DC management is confident that Rishabh Pant will be fit and available for the IPL 2024, but his return will be gradual and only as a batsman and he will be used as an Impact Player.
