After team India declared their first innings at 421 for five midway into the afternoon session, an improved batting show was expected from the Caribbean batters, however, they failed miserably. Ashwin picked another seven wickets for 71 in 21.3 overs, his best in an overseas Test. Team India’s big win came riding on Yashasvi Jaiswal‘s sublime knock of 171 runs on his debut.
