Indian cricket team’s star all-rounder Shardul Thakur engaged in a lighthearted banter with Ritika Sajdeh, the wife of captain Rohit Sharma. The fun exchange took place on Instagram after Thakur shared a picture of himself.

On Thursday, Thakur took to his social media and shared a picture of himself, adding a touch of humor to the team’s preparations for the much-awaited ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia at ‘The Oval” in London.
Sharing the picture, Shardul wrote: “Let eternal forces back you instead #st54,”
Ritika Sajdeh, who is known for her friendly rapport with several cricketers, was quick to notice the post and she decided to pull Shardul’s leg in response to his post. Her mischievous comment stole all the attention of the post. She wrote:
“I can see you were trying to go for the smouldering look. Try harder, k thanks bye”
Shardul was quick to notice the comment and come up with a witty reply to it. He wrote: “@ritssajdeh no wonder there was fire without smoke 😁,”

Meanwhile, Shardul is currently part of the Indian squad that will take on Australia in the World Test Championship Final, which will start from June 7th to 11th at The Oval Stadium in London. He alongwith the Indian squad are gearing up for the much-awaited summit clash.
Thakur has represented the Indian side in 8 Test matches so far, during which he has impressively taken 27 wickets. Additionally, he has also showcased his batting prowess by scoring three half-centuries.
