On Thursday, he gave a hilarious reply to a fan who called him a ‘coward’ if he still lets Waqar Younis work as a commentator in Indian affiliated tournaments.

Well, it all started after Waqar Younis issued an apology for his insensitive remarks during the talk show, which didn’t go down well with the Indian fans. After receiving a lot of backlash on social media, Waqar Younis has finally issued an apology, where he claimed that those words came out of his mouth in the heat of the moment. He wrote:

“In the heat of the moment, I said something which I did not mean which has hurt the sentiments of many. I apologise for this, this was not intended at all, genuine mistake. Sports unites people regardless of race, colour or religion. #apologies,”
