Former England captain Michael Vaughan has made a hilarious statement, trolling Mickey Arthur, saying that it was at the request of the India skipper Rohit Sharma that the DJ didn’t play the Dil Dil Pakistan song at the Narendra Modi Stadium, which led to the loss of Pakistan.
Of all the trolling the Pakistan Team director, Mickey Arthur, has gotten for his bizarre statement following the loss to India in their World Cup 2023 match in Ahmedabad, perhaps Michael Vaughan has taken the honors for the best, funniest trolling against Arthur.
In a statement that stunned everyone, Mickey Arthur condemned the lack of support inside the Narendra Modi Stadium for the Pakistan team, including the DJ not playing the Dil Dil Pakistan song, which is a usual song played during matches of Pakistan.
Arthur got slammed by everyone for his comment, including former Pakistani players.

Recently, Adam Gilchrist and Michael Vaughan appeared on the Club Prairie Fire podcast to discuss the IND vs PAK encounter, which India won by 7 wickets.
As Gilchrist and Vaughan heaped praise on the India captain Rohit Sharma for his brilliant captaincy and bowling changes in the middle overs – which forced Pakistan’s collapse from 155/2 to 191 all out – Vaughan also mocked Arthur, saying that Rohit Sharma’s best move was to tell the DJ to not play Dil Dil Pakistan song.
Gilchrist and the show’s hosts had a big chuckle at Vaughan’s comments.
“His (Rohit Sharma) best move and without a doubt, is the move that won them the game and the Pakistan coach alluded to it afterward. Rohit obviously said to the DJ that please do not play ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’. If you are going to play ‘Dil Dil’, they are going to win.
“So, do not play that song pre-match and make sure that they don’t hear that inspirational song that obviously makes them play so well. We have beaten them seven times in World Cups but if we play ‘Dil Dil’ today then they are going to beat us. That was clever. Most captains don’t think about the DJ or music. Rohit is ahead of his time,” Vaughan said.
