Indian cricket captains may change, but their knack for entertaining fans remains constant. From MS Dhoni’s witty commentary behind the stumps to Virat Kohli’s lively dancing and challenging opponents, and presently, Rohit Sharma continuing the trend by enjoying himself despite the team being 0-1 down in the series.
Rohit Sharma Asked Umpire For ‘Help’ In Taking DRS
In the India vs England Test in Vizag, with India aiming to level the series, captain Rohit Sharma added a touch of humor. England, at 114/1, was doing well until Jasprit Bumrah’s entry, resulting in them quickly falling to 159/5. Amidst the intense game, Rohit Sharma injected some fun. After dismissing Joe Root, Bumrah bowled a strong yorker that narrowly missed Jonny Bairstow’s defense. The Indian team appealed, but the umpire, Marais Erasmus, denied their request.
In a hilarious twist, Rohit Sharma turned to umpire Marais Erasmus and asked, “Marais, what do you think?” as he playfully sought the umpire’s assistance in deciding whether to review the decision or not. The hilarious video has been going viral on the internet, watch it here:

The Indian captain is pleased with how his team performed on the field. Despite the Indian batters not doing well, the young player Yashasvi Jaiswal stood out by scoring his first Test double-hundred all by himself.
Jasprit Bumrah, always reliable, continued to perform well with the ball in various conditions, taking five important wickets. On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav, filling in for the injured Ravindra Jadeja, also created difficulties for the English batters with his spinning deliveries.
Even though things are going smoothly on the field, the captain is cautious of England’s potential comeback. He aims to avoid repeating the mistakes from their loss in the first Test at Visakhapatnam.
