Rohit Sharma Fans Can’t Keep Calm After Their ‘Hitman’ Was Named In India’s Squad h

A wave of happiness went through the fans after Rohit Sharma was finally included in the India Test squad for the Australia tour. However, the senior India selection committee and BCCI medical team, after consulting Rohit decided to rest him from the T20I and ODI series in Australia.

Rohit Sharma has been the hot topic of discussion ever since he was omitted from the Indian squad for the tour of Australia beginning November 27. It was believed that the reason behind the same was the hamstring injury, which Rohit sustained during the clash between KXIP and MI. Following which Rohit missed the next four matches for the franchise due to it.

However, things turned bitter when Rohit Sharma turned up for Mumbai Indians in the last league match and Qualifier 1 round against Delhi Capitals and gave an update about his injury.

Now, on Monday, BCCI announced that their medical team have monitored the condition of Rohit Sharma and has decided to rest him for the limited format of the game. However, he has been included in the longest format of the game. The statement read:

“The BCCI Medical Team has been monitoring Rohit Sharma’s fitness and has briefed All-India Senior Selection Committee on the same. In consultation with Mr Sharma, it has been decided to rest him for the ODIs and T20Is in Australia to regain full fitness and he has been included in India’s Test squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy,”

Meanwhile, the fans were thrilled with the news of Rohit Sharma making it to the Indian squad for the Australia tour in the longest format of the game. From celebrities to fans, everyone took to their Twitter to express their happiness on the matter.

Yes…He is back in Test bcoz Mr. Kolhi is not in the team. If he is in the team then Mr. HITMAN won’t be available for selection.
