In the ongoing fifth Test between India and England, captain Rohit Sharma has been displaying his humorous side. The match, which concludes the series, is happening at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

Rohit Sharma Gave Hilarious Advice To Kuldeep Yadav On Bowling To Jonny Bairstow
This was evident when England’s Jonny Bairstow, playing his 100th Test, came out to bat during the 38th over of the first innings. Captain Rohit Sharma shared a humorous tip with spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who was bowling at the time.
Rohit Sharma was overheard telling Kuldeep Yadav that he could try any bowling tactic against Jonny Bairstow. In response, the leg-spinner humorously agreed with the captain’s suggestion. The captain was heard saying: “isko toh kuch bhi daal.”

Rohit Sharma’s suggestion paid off for Kuldeep Yadav as Jonny Bairstow couldn’t make a significant impact in his 100th match. Despite attempting to play aggressively, he couldn’t sustain his innings and was dismissed for 29 runs off 18 balls. He fell victim to the wrist spinner who posed challenges throughout his time at the crease.
Kuldeep Yadav bowled a fuller googly, enticing Bairstow into a drive. The ball found the faint outside edge and was easily caught by keeper Dhruv Jurel. With this dismissal, the wrist-spinner reached 50 Test wickets, becoming the fastest Indian to achieve this milestone in terms of balls bowled.
Kuldeep Yadav finished with five wickets, while Ravichandran Ashwin claimed four. Ravindra Jadeja also contributed with a wicket. England’s innings concluded at 218 runs, with India swiftly taking the last eight wickets. Notably, all 10 wickets fell to spinners.
After restricting England to just 218 runs, Rohit Sharma has ignited India’s innings with a dynamic start in the ongoing match. Alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal, he has forged a solid opening partnership of over 70 runs. With Rohit’s aggressive intent and recent form, India aims to capitalize on this foundation and dominate the game further. Fans eagerly anticipate another impactful innings from the skipper.
