India captain Rohit Sharma had a funny response to a mistaken call by the on-field umpire during the fifth Test against England in Dharamsala.

On day one of the fifth Test, India’s bowlers restricted England to 218 runs, allowing Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal to start batting. However, their partnership was short-lived as Rohit Sharma was wrongly given out by umpire Joel Wilson. The incident occurred in the seventh over when James Anderson bowled a delivery towards the leg side, which Rohit Sharma attempted to glance but missed, resulting in his dismissal.

When the England fielders appealed for a caught behind, there was a noise as the ball passed the bat. Surprised by the umpire’s decision, Rohit Sharma immediately took the review, giving a hilarious reaction. He was seen smiling and shaking his head in disbelief before seemingly saying: “Abe chu**ya hai kya?”

The UltraEdge soon confirmed Rohit Sharma’s correctness, leading the on-field umpire to reverse his decision.

Meanwhile, in the fifth Test, India took control of the game by bowling out England for 218 runs. Despite England’s strong position at 175 for 3, they suffered a sudden collapse. Zak Crawley was the top scorer for England with 79 runs, including 11 fours and a six.

No other England player scored more than 30 runs. Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for India, while Ravichandran Ashwin got four. India’s batting reply has been solid, reaching 73 runs without losing any wickets.
