India captain Rohit Sharma hilariously motivated fast bowler Mohammed Siraj after the pacer fell on the ground during England’s first innings in the ongoing fifth Test of the series in Dharamsala.
India and England got the last Test of the series underway on Thursday in Dharamsala. Ben Stokes, the England skipper, won the toss and elected to bat first, but his batters couldn’t make most of the good batting conditions and England were bowled out for only 218 in 57.4 overs with Kuldeep Yadav taking a five-wicket haul and R Ashwin taking a four-for and Ravindra Jadeja scalped the important wicket of Joe Root.
Earlier, in the first session, though, India got a bit of a scare with Mohammed Siraj when the pacer couldn’t get up for a few moments and seemed to have picked up an injury after falling on the ground while fielding.
Rohit Sharma motivated Mohammed Siraj in a funny way

In the 11th over of England’s innings, bowled by Jasprit Bumrah, Crawley clipped a delivery on the legside. Mohammed Siraj at mid-wicket managed to stop the ball but soon was on the ground and held his right knee. Replays revealed that his boot slid on the ground and that’s why he was sitting down.
As Siraj grimaced in pain, captain Rohit Sharma motivated him like a big brother to be strong and get up. Rohit Sharma could be heard hilariously screaming “Uth jaa, uth jaa… Sabash! (get up, get up, come on).”
Siraj took a few more seconds and was up on his feet. He even bowled the next over, a six on a trot, and proved that his knee was alright.
Meanwhile, it was a stunning performance from the Indian spinners. Bumrah was unlucky to not have taken a single wicket in his newball spell. Duckett and Crawley put an opening stand of 64 runs, but once Kuldeep broke that, the floodgates opened and the spin trio waltzed through it. Kuldeep bagged his 4th Test five-wicket haul in only his 12th Test.
