What happened between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir?

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq were involved in an on-field spat during the high-voltage IPL 2023 match between LSG and RCB on May 1st. RCB went on to defeat Lucknow away from home but the game saw tempers flare at the end.

Kohli and Naveen came face-to-face with each other during the match and after the game as well. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir intervened and had an ugly spat with Virat Kohli. KL Rahul, who was carrying a thigh injury, had to intervene and separate the two.

LSG vs MI

Meanwhile, both LSG and MI would play to seal their spot in the IPL 2023 playoffs. Both the teams are placed next to each other in the points table, making the encounter even more thrilling. Mumbai is currently sitting at the 3rd spot with 14 points, with seven wins and five losses. On the other hand, Lucknow is just behind Mumbai with 13 points, losing 5 games and winning six.

Mumbai Indians are coming to this game riding on a win against defending champions Gujarat Titans by 27 runs. In the match, Suryakumar Yadav played a sensational knock of 103* runs. Lucknow also won their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets.
