Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma met and hugged each other ahead of the crucial game between their Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians on Tuesday evening. Rohit walked up to the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants, Gautam, and shook hands at the practice session in the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Monday.

Gambhir was recently in the news for the heated exchange between him and Virat Kohli earlier this month. Gambhir was seen cracking jokes and smiling along with the Indian captain in a video shared by LSG via their official Instagram handle.

Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq were involved in an on-field spat during the high-voltage IPL 2023 match between LSG and RCB on May 1st. RCB went on to defeat Lucknow away from home but the game saw tempers flare at the end.
