Indian captain Rohit Sharma picked his favorite moments of his glorious career. Interestingly, Rohit, who is one of the most successful captains in the Indian Premier League history, having led his team Mumbai Indians to 5 times has ignored his IPL wins.

Picking his first favorite moment, Rohit Sharma recalled the iconic 2007 World Cup win. After this, Rohit chose his debut Test hundred against West Indies in 2013 at Eden Gardens of Kolkata.

Picking his third favorite moment, Rohit Sharma kept the Gabba Test win and at number four, his hundred-run partnership with Sachin in the CB series. Last but not least, Rohit Sharma picked up his 264 runs knock in an ODI game.

Recently,  Rohit Sharma opened up about his future plans with the Indian cricket team at a promotional event in the United States.

As the ODI World Cup 2023 is approaching fast, Will the 2023 World Cup be Rohit’s swansong?’, this has become one of the most discussed topics.The 36-year-old has finally opened up his retirement talks after the West Indies ODI series and said:

“More than just going and enjoying, there is another reason to come here (in the USA). Because you know the World Cup is coming. In June, there will be the T20 World Cup (2024) happening in this part of the world. So, I’m pretty sure everyone is excited. So yaa, we look forward to that,”

It has to be noted that Rohit Sharma isn’t a part of the ongoing 5-match India vs West Indies T20I series. He will return to action in the much-awaited Asia Cup 2023, which is all set to kickstart in August. A total of 6 teams from Asia will participate in the continental tournament. Defending champions India, who have won this tournament 7 times, will aim to extend their winning streak under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma.
