It is a special day in the history of Indian cricket as one of the most destructive batters of this generation – Rohit Sharma got his first taste of cricket at international level.

Rohit Sharma Completed 15 Years In International Cricket

Yes, 15 years ago, on this day, Rohit Sharma had made his ODI debut for the Indian cricket team in a match against Ireland in 2007. During his debut game, he didn’t get a chance to bat as Sourav Ganguly (73*) and Gautam Gambhir (80*) starred in a chase of 171 runs.

In his glorious career of 15 years, Rohit had gone through his share of ups and downs during his glorious career. The cricketer took some time to cement his place but once he did, there was no going back. He is currently the all-format captain of team India and is hailed as the modern-legend of this game.
