S Sreesanth, this name isn’t new to the cricket world. Though the former Indian cricketer does not boast of an impressive track record in international cricket, however, his contribution, his behavior on the field and the controversies, always kept him in the limelight. Even today, when he is away from the cricket world, he keeps making news for some reason or the other.
Sreesanth was a part of the world cup winning squad of 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 50-over World Cup. However, his career took a bad turn when he was accused of spot-fixing during the 2013 IPL. Following which he was banned for life.
Apart from his career, he has never shied away from passing controversial remarks. Recently, S Sreesanth claimed that Dinesh Karthik was responsible for S Sreesanth’s exit from team India.
The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik has now finally responded to the allegations made by S Sreesanth by laughing it off. He said:
“Yes, I have heard about S Sreesanth’s comments that I was responsible for his ouster from the Indian team. Even to react to an allegation like that will be silly,”
Last month S Sreesanth’s ban was cut short to seven months. Thus, he can play cricket in September 2020.
