Former South Africa captain AB de Villiers was trolled heavily by fans on social media with hilarious memes and tweets for his jinxing of David Miller during South Africa’s World Cup 2023 game against England on Saturday in Mumbai.

South Africa faced England at the batting-friendly Wankhede Stadium on Saturday in Mumbai. Both teams were coming off upset losses to Afghanistan and the Netherlands and aimed for a win today to revive their campaign.

Jos Buttler, the England skipper, won the toss and elected to bowl first.

During South Africa’s innings, Ab de Villiers was tweeting his views and predictions. When Miller came out to bat, de Villiers predicted that David Miller would bat well today and take South Africa to a big total. However, son after ABD’s tweet, Miller got out for only 5 runs in 6 balls.

“Miller is my man today,” the former captain tweeted.

This tweet started to go viral minutes after he’d tweeted as Miller gave a straight catch to Ben Stokes at mid-off off the bowling of Reece Topley, who was bowling with an injured finger.
