As Chennai was rocked earlier by some desert storm, they made a brilliant comeback after some exquisite bowling and brilliant fielding from their players in the middle.
The departure of Sanju Samson instigated a collapse which a shallow middle order of Rajasthan Royals could not plug and things went out of control. Smith played the lone warrior in the middle before getting dismissed by Sam Curran.
However, Twitter went berserk when India’s little master took a funny dig at David Miller as the South African hard-hitter got out for a Diamond Duck with some brilliant fielding in the deep.
What caught the eye of Sachin Tendulkar was the fashion in which Miller got run out. He lost his bat in the middle and he had to make a dash for the line with his bare hands.
Quite expectedly he failed to reach the line and got out in woeful fashion with the fielder taking off the bails.
Tendulkar shared a piece of his mind with the South African southpaw, stating in his tweet, “Never ground your bat on a surface that isn’t hard. Batsmen need to remember that there is a desert underneath! ? #CSKvsRR”
