Twitterati Are Trolling Piyush Chawla Left, Right And Centre: After kickstarting their IPL 2020 campaign with a bang against Mumbai Indians in the first match, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings got off to the worst start in the second match against Rajasthan Royals.
As the match kickstarted, Steve Smith and Yashasvi Jaiswal came out to start the inning for Rajasthan Royals. They gave a much-needed headstart to the game as the 18-year-old Jaiswal marked his guard. However, their partnership soon came to an end after Jaiswal tried to hit a pull shot but ended up getting bowled.
After Jasiwal’s dismissal, Sanju Samson walked in to bat and this is when the nightmare for Chennai Super Kings begun. Sanju kickstarted his knock with a stunning boundary, followed by a six. After amassing 14 runs from an over Sanju Samson and Steve Smith stepped their foot on the accelerator and their victim became the experienced bowlers of CSK – Piyush Chawla.

From overdrive to some breathtaking shots, Sanju Samson smashed some back to back shots and made everyone sit on the edge of their seats. While on the other hand, Piyush Chawla was having a nightmare out in the middle.
Piyush Chawla conceded 47 runs in 2 overs, out of which 28 runs came from the first over. His bowling spell read: 6 6 1 1 6 NB+1 6 6 1 6 1 4 1. Needless to say, it was one of the worst bowling spells so far.
Sanju Samson was soon dismissed, but the harm was already done. He went back to pavilion after scoring 74 runs off 33 balls, smashing 9 six and 1 four. While Chawla conceded 55 runs off 4 overs.
In the meantime, social media was flooded with reactions from the angry fans, who just can’t stop trolling Piyush Chawla for his disappointing bowling spell.
