IPL 2017: Delhi Daredevils’ youngster Rishabh Pant played a spectacular match winning against The Gujarat Lions at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi, on Thursday. Pant, who was one of the most prolific run scorers at the domestic level in 2016/17 season, displayed a batting masterclass and made The Gujarat Lions bowler look ordinary.
Pant is one of the brightest young talents in India and has been scoring runs consistently, irrespective of the format. In the match against The Gujarat Lions, Pant scored 97 runs off 43 balls and took Delhi Daredevils home almost single-handedly.
In his blistering innings, Pant smashed 9 sixes and 6 fours. Pant didn’t waste any time whatsoever and started smashing Gujarat bowlers from the moment he arrived in the middle. His match-winning knock was praised by one and all, but the most special message came from Sachin Tendulkar, the man Rishabh Pant and millions of young batsmen in India and across the world idolise.
