Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has showered praise for Indian opener Shubman Gill, who will lead the batting line-up of defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) against MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the high-voltage final clash of the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Indian opener Gill has become the biggest highlight of the ongoing IPL 2023. He gave outstanding erformances throughout the tournament and impressed the cricketing world with his composed temperament, remarkable batting skills and astute running between the wickets.
With three centuries to his name, Gill has been nothing short of unforgettable. He has proved his mettle as one of the most promising young talents in the cricketing world.
Sachin Tendulkar Wrote A Beautiful Message
Meanwhile, ahead of the final clash, Sachin Tendulkar praised Gill’s ability to seize the momentum and make a big impact on the game.
Tendulkar highlighted the batting brilliance of Gill and pointed out how Gill’s twin centuries impacted the campaign of Rohit’s men in the IPL 2023. He wrote:
“Shubman Gill’s performance this season has been nothing short of unforgettable, marked by two centuries that left an indelible impact. One century ignited @mipaltan’s hopes, while the other dealt them a crushing blow. Such is the unpredictable nature of cricket! Further, talking about the final match in his post, Tendulkar also observed that the wickets of Shubman Gill and David Millers will be key for Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings. He wrote:
“Gujarat are a formidable side and the wickets of @ShubmanGill, @hardikpandya7 & @DavidMillerSA12 will be key for Chennai tonight. @ChennaiIPL also bat deep with @msdhoni coming in as low as number 8, hence it could be a case of one team out-batting the other. It’s going to be an interesting Final to watch,”
